Y3 Professional Development Award L.Chinn

The Midwest Data Librarian Symposium is an annual conference sponsored by regional universities in the Midwest. This year, the Midwest Data Librarian Symposium (MDLS) will be held at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, and co-hosted by The Ohio State University, Miami University, and the University of Cincinnati. The conference will take place from October 9-11, 2023. The conference is “intended to enable Midwestern librarians who work with research data management issues the chance to network” (https://mwdatalibrariansymposium.wordpress.com) and gain invaluable educational opportunities. As the data services librarian at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, this conference would allow me to share with colleagues both at UNMC and regionally cutting-edge knowledge in data services. Because this event is now an in-person event, I plan to travel to the University of Cincinnati to attend in person.
